What does it do?

What if my skin has lost tone?
Then removing volume can make laxity more visible, not less. Where skin is the limiting factor the honest answer may be a skin excision — a brachioplasty — or a skin-tightening treatment first. Dr. Sibaja will not pretend liposuction solves it.
Can it be paired with skin tightening?
Often, yes. Energy-based tightening such as BodyTite works alongside the fat removal to help the skin retract, and for borderline cases that combination is the difference between a good and a disappointing result.
What does the procedure involve?
Small access points, usually under local anaesthesia with sedation, as a day procedure. Both arms are treated in one session.
What is the recovery?
A compression sleeve for a period, with bruising and swelling settling over weeks. Arms are visible and used constantly, so plan for a period of restricted lifting.
When will I see the final shape?
Early improvement is visible once swelling settles, but the contour continues to refine for three to six months as the tissue retracts.
Will the fat come back?
The cells removed do not return, but the remaining ones enlarge with weight gain. Stability protects the result.
Are the marks visible?
The access points are very small and placed discreetly, usually near the elbow or in the armpit crease. They fade to near-invisibility in most patients.
